TLDR; The app does not collect, share, or transmit any personal information.
whostime stores the following information locally on your Mac, and only on your Mac:
The names you give to your clients or contacts, their timezone selections, your own home timezone, and your time format preference (12-hour or 24-hour). This data is saved using macOS’s standard local storage (UserDefaults) and never leaves your device.
whostime does not connect to the internet. It does not have a server. It does not use analytics tools. It does not track how you use it. It does not collect device identifiers, crash reports, or any diagnostic data. It has no user accounts and no sign-in of any kind.
No third-party SDKs, libraries, or services are used in this app. All timezone data comes from Apple’s built-in system frameworks, which are part of macOS itself.
If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this page will be updated and the date at the top will reflect when. Given the nature of the app, significant changes are unlikely.
